AMICHAT. Symptoms such as neck, shoulder, or back discomfort, difficulty with certain physical activities, skin irritation, or challenges finding suitable clothing may lead some individuals to consider breast reduction surgery. Determining whether someone is an appropriate breast reduction candidate requires an individual consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon. The assessment may consider overall health, breast size and shape, symptoms, medical history, lifestyle factors, expectations, and the potential benefits and risks of surgery. Dr. Divya’s website provides educational information about breast reduction candidacy, the consultation process, treatment considerations, recovery, and possible outcomes. Individuals considering breast reduction can review the guide to better understand the factors involved and discuss their circumstances with a qualified plastic surgeon before making a treatment decision.
